Investors are constantly looking for ways to enhance their portfolios. From selecting good stocks to finding solid funds, smart investors need good tools to evaluate their selections.
Join us at the Jerusalem Investment Group's May meeting to learn and discuss how to evaluate companies, funds, and ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds). We've had five previous meetings with a lot of enthusiasm and participation. Meeting participants are encouraged to learn from each other and share what they know.
When comparing different stocks, we'll discuss how to size up the options, compare their valuations, and learn how to size up a potential investment.
Concepts to be discussed will include:
- stock screening
- comparing potential investments
- simple and more advanced valuation tools
- lazy vs. active portfolios
So, attendees should be able to leave the meeting with an understanding of how to screen and compare stocks, funds, and ETFs.
Bring your questions, comments, friends, and spouses to begin taking the next step towards creating a sound investment portfolio. If there are specific questions you'd like addressed during the meetup, please email them to [masked] beforehand. I will try to address your questions.
