For those who've attended our last 7 meetings, we've discussed a lot of concepts. From asset allocation to diversification to international investing to risk profiling, we've discussed a lot of tools to make us better investors.

Now, it's time to put these concepts into practice with the Jerusalem Investment Group Investment Challenge. Please see the directions below as to how to sign up. We'll be creating model portfolios on the Internet with virtual money. At our next meeting, July 16th, we'll use these portfolios as the basis of our discussions.

For those new members to the fastest-growing investment group in Jerusalem, we're happy to have you attend and jump right into creating model investment portfolios. We'll learn a lot just by doing.

The Jerusalem Investment Meetup Group is launching our investment challenge. By popular demand, we'll be challenging each other to see whose portfolio has the best returns.

So, here's how it will work:

* Go to MarketGuru.com
* Sign up with a username and password
* Pick at least 5 stocks or ETFs for your portfolio
* Send me your username

While not a perfect solution, MarketGuru will allow us to monitor our portfolios and track our performance. Members can subscribe to each others' portfolios to be notified of any trades. It's a way to reward the best performers and help others learn from the group.
