Investors are constantly looking for ways to enhance their portfolios. It's been proven that there are a select few investors who consistently find ways to beat the market with their investment selection. The Jerusalem Investment Group is launching a Guru Series that will focus on how professional investors evaluate and choose investments. For anyone who aspires to pick stocks profitably, this group of meetings is for you.
Part 1 of the Guru Series will focus on famed value investors like Warren Buffett, his mentor, Benjamin Graham, John Neff and David Dreman -- all heavy hitter value investors with different formulas for success.
Beyond just talking about investing philosophy, attendees will leave these meetings knowing how these guru investors decide on which stocks to buy, complete with formulas, equations and tools to do this.
For example, learn what:
- Return on Equity (ROE) Buffett looks for in an investment and
- what price/earnings ratios Benjamin Graham thinks are "cheap"
- why dividends are so important for value investing
Join us at the Jerusalem Investment Group's March meeting to learn how famed value investors actually look at the stock market to size up investment opportunities. We have almost 100 members of the group and new members are always welcome. For do-it-yourself investors, you should leave the meeting with some framework to put to use on your own and for those less familiar with investing, you will not be overwhelmed with formulas or technical jargon. There should really be something here for everyone.
Bring your questions, comments, friends, and spouses to the Jerusalem Investment Group. If there are specific questions you'd like addressed during the meetup, please email them to [masked] beforehand. I will try to address your questions.
Please note!!
We've moved offices and the group! We're now meeting at 8 HaRav Kook, across from the Ticho House off of Rechov Yaffo. If anyone needs better directions, please email or call. RSVP is mandatory. Please use the sign up capabilities on this email, email me at [masked] or call (02) 624-0995 to let me know to expect you. Looking forward!
