Women's Investment Group of Northern Vermont

This group is for women from the Burlington area who are interested in "investing in themselves" by learning more about important topics such as investing, the environment, health and other areas that can enhance women's long-term well-being.

Proposed topics are:

- Basic and advanced financial investing
- Purchasing/leasing cars
- Purchasing real estate
- Starting a business
- Safeguarding the environment and our homes
- Health and nutrition
- Giving back to the community
- Politics
- International issues

Initial meetings will teach members about the basics of investing money. As the months progress the topics will become more advanced and varied. There will be speakers at each meeting who can help us learn more about empowering ourselves in important areas of our life such as health, politics and the environment.

This group is free of charge and open to all women.

Members are encouraged to recommend topics that they would like covered in meetings.
